TRAVEL AWARDS

Travel awards have been issued and those who qualified have been notified. The committee are seeking further funding and if successful, will notify those who weren’t successful after round 1 of funding directly if successful.

To support participation from across the national and international research community, a number of travel awards are available to help early-career scientists and students attend DC2026 in San Diego.

These awards are generously funded by the American Association of Immunologists, the Leo Foundation and Boehringer Ingelheim Stifung.

If you are an early-career investigator, postdoctoral researcher or student, we strongly encourage you to apply for a travel award during the abstract submission process.

FAQ’S

  • Online submission portal - Currinda

    Currinda is the registration and abstract submission system in use for DC2026.

    If you have not used Currinda before, you will be required to create a new account. You will need to provide the below information to create your account: 

    • Email address 

    • Password 

    • Full name 

    • Organization 

    • Position 

    • Country 

    • Work phone number 

    • Mobile number 

    The system will not let you proceed until you have completed each of these fields and will prompt you to complete them if they are missed in the initial process. 

    Once you have created an account, you will be able to continue with your submission. 

    You can cut and paste your abstract submission into the text fields. You will be able to:

    • Preview a summary of your submission and make modifications to your satisfaction until submissions close.

    • Indicate your preferred contributed or special session category for consideration.

  • You will receive an immediate email notification confirming your submission has been received (please check your junk email if not received shortly after finalizing your online submission).

    Once submitted, you will be able to login to make edits to your submission until the submission closing date.

    To do this, please log back in to your online registration dashboard. Click the “manage” button under the Individual Abstract Submission heading. Here you will be able to view, edit or submit a new abstract.

    Note: Once the submission deadline has passed and reviewing has commenced, no changes within the portal are permitted.

  • Once the submission deadline passes, the DC2026 Organizing and Program Committees will review all submissions. Once reviews have been completed, notification of programming decisions will come from the ASN Events Team.

  • Final acceptance into the program is conditional upon having a valid DC2026 registration.

  • The DC2026 Conference proceedings will be published in the online meeting program and app, accessible to only DC2026 conference attendees.

    If you do NOT wish to have your abstract published, please select the ‘withhold publishing consent’ option when submitting your abstract.
