Stefani Spranger, Ph.D. received a doctorate in immunology from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, in Munich, Germany in 2011, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in tumor immunology at The University of Chicago. In 2017, she is currently Associate Professor of Biology and the Associate Director at the Koch Institute for Integrative Biology at MIT. She was a Pew Stewart fellow and was awarded the Young Investigator award of the Society for Melanoma Research. She was elected to the board of directors of the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer and currently serves of the editorial advisory board of the Journal of Experimental Medicine and as an editor for the Journal of Immunotherapy of Cancer.
